CURRENT MOON

Road Trip!  A Visit to the Mysterious Georgia Guidestones ...in the Fog ...After Dark....    On an unseasonably warm winter day in the first days of 2012, this GhostPRO Mariel set out with pals for a day of geocaching (a sort of a world-wide scavenger hunt facilitated with GPS guidance and compass coordinates). We had explored the small town of Commerce and I suggested on our way back we stop by the Georgia Guidestones. Their mystique guaranteed the monument to be a logical location for a cache. And thus it came to be that we found ourselves in rural Elbert County Georgia, in a lonely field….in the dark….and the fog…. face-to-face with the “American Stonehenge” looming before us in all its gray granite glory.....more

Have you ever been in a place that was so special, so magical, so "home" that you wished never to have to leave?  Could it be this has happened at Liberty Lodge?  Autumn was upon us when the Ghost PRO team got the call asking if we would like to investigate a bed & breakfast in in Oconee County.  Numerous reports of activity had been experienced by guests including a report of toiletries being rearranged on the sink in one suite. So off we went, and on a quiet byway in rural Walhalla we found Liberty Lodge, a Victorian-era manor home built in 1884 as a wedding gift from Judge John J. Norton to his daughter, Elizabeth (Lizzie), upon her marriage to Major William J. Stribling and later the summer residence of famed educator J. L. Mann.  The inn has a presence like an elegant queen holding court amongst a stand of majestic and ancient hardwoods, and we thought it beautiful, even in the misting rain....more

Another great Book Review from Janet!
An Unexpected Guest by Bruce E. Johnson
Once again I have to thank my family for adding another volume on ghosts to my library shelves. This time the contributors were my son and his wife who recently stayed at the famed Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina. Active overseas service necessitated a return to Europe too soon, but before his departure they gifted me with a numbered and double-autographed Author's Special First Edition of the novel,
An Unexpected Guest This is Bruce E. Johnson's fourteenth published work, the third in which the historic resort is featured. In a departure from his core genre of specialized artisan fare, he has crafted a truly superb story of mystery and intrigue.... more
